A bright, energizing blend that opens with the bold warmth of black tea and blooms into layers of sweet orange and delicate jasmine. Ginger adds a subtle heat that lingers, while ashwagandha grounds the cup with a steadying lift, making every sip feel like a proper start to the day. Now offered in plant-based, nylon-free sachets for a more convenient way to take your tea.

From Our Tea Sommelier

There’s something about a wake-up call that feels like permission. Someone else decided it’s time, so you don’t have to negotiate with yourself. I wanted this blend to do the same thing. Black tea with bright orange and a little heat from ginger. It doesn’t ease you in, it gets you there. Reach for it when the day needs to start whether you’re ready or not.

The Four Steps to Tasting Like a Sommelier

Behind the Blend

Every Forgrave blend is designed to be read the same way: aroma, color, body, and finish. It is the sequence Catherine uses to taste each blend she composes, a multisensory way of experiencing the tea that moves from first breath to last trace. Flavor lives inside body and finish, arriving on the palate at first sip and lingering long after.

Aroma
Step One
Aroma
Breathe it in before the first sip. Aroma sets the expectation for what the palate is about to meet and often carries more of the tea than the tongue alone will register.
Sweet orange lifts first, bright and peel-forward, jasmine opening behind it over the malt of the black tea.
Color
Step Two
Color
Tilt the cup toward the light and study the liquor, the color of the brewed tea. Each tea has a distinct and expected hue, and its clarity is the first signal of a leaf steeped properly.
A deep amber copper, clear and full, the darkest pour among the blends.
Body
Step Three
Body
Take a slow sip and let it rest across the whole palate. This is where flavor first arrives, alongside the weight and texture of the tea on the tongue.
Full and warming, black tea malt across the front while orange brightens the middle and ginger builds a slow heat.
Finish
Step Four
Finish
Breathe out gently after you swallow and notice what lingers. Much of flavor is carried on the exhale as aroma returns through the nose, so the finish is where a tea reveals its final notes.
Citrus fades into ginger warmth, with the earthiness of ashwagandha settling last and holding.
