The French Press
Iced Tea Brewer
Made by our friends at Public Goods, this French Press is made from the same top-quality borosilicate glass as The Glass Cigar. Designed for both form and function, it’s our favorite vessel for brewing iced tea — minimal, elegant, and built to last. The best part: this French Press is dishwasher safe.
To cold brew, add loose leaf tea directly to the French Press.
We recommend 1 teaspoon of tea per 1 cup of water.
Fill with cold, filtered water and let steep in the fridge for 8–12 hours.
When ready, press down the handle and pour over ice to serve.
For sun tea, follow the same process and place the French Press in direct sunlight for 3–5 hours, then refrigerate and serve chilled.
To avoid over-steeping, transfer the tea to a clean pitcher after brewing.

This is my go-to for making iced tea at home. I prefer the cold brew method — I prep it before bed, and by morning, it’s ready to pour. No fuss, no heat, just tea.
