Soft and floral, this green tea carries the scent of jasmine blossoms and a whisper of fruit. Light enough for everyday sipping, yet fragrant enough to feel like something special. It’s a gentle reset — elegant, calming, and quietly bright.

— Catherine, Founder & Certified Tea Sommelier
From Our Tea Sommelier

Jasmine Green is the tea I reach for when I need quiet clarity. It has this way of creating stillness — like walking through a garden alone, with just enough breeze to stir something awake in you.

The Four Steps to Tasting Like a Sommelier

Behind the Blend

Every Forgrave blend is designed to be read the same way: aroma, color, body, and finish. It is the sequence Catherine uses to taste each blend she composes, a multisensory way of experiencing the tea that moves from first breath to last trace. Flavor lives inside body and finish, arriving on the palate at first sip and lingering long after.

Aroma
Step One
Aroma
Breathe it in before the first sip. Aroma sets the expectation for what the palate is about to meet and often carries more of the tea than the tongue alone will register.
A fast, strong floral hit of jasmine up top, grounded by the grassy umami of green tea underneath.
Color
Step Two
Color
Tilt the cup toward the light and study the liquor, the color of the brewed tea. Each tea has a distinct and expected hue, and its clarity is the first signal of a leaf steeped properly.
A very pale gold edging to yellow, exactly what Jasmine green should show.
Body
Step Three
Body
Take a slow sip and let it rest across the whole palate. This is where flavor first arrives, alongside the weight and texture of the tea on the tongue.
A meatier, satisfying mouthfeel, jasmine striking the front of the tongue before green tea umami rounds through the middle.
Finish
Step Four
Finish
Breathe out gently after you swallow and notice what lingers. Much of flavor is carried on the exhale as aroma returns through the nose, so the finish is where a tea reveals its final notes.
The umami green note that green tea is known for stays to the end.
